See Rule Book tab for more info on how to play

1) Place the board on a flat surface and clear the surrounding area.  This is Danger Darts.  Not cornhole.  Like real darts, avoid putting your face near the target while someone is throwing, and similarly, don't throw if someone else's face is near the board. Same with feet, but to a slightly lesser degree.

2) Choose a game from below.

3) Throw the darts. Play the game

4) Adjust distance as needed.

5) Don't be a jerk if the dart hits the line.  Or be one.  Whatever.  I'm not your mom.

Games:

1) Standard competitive. See Rule Book tab for rules.  Stand 10-15ft back. Aim for the main target. Player A throws 3 then player B throws 3.  Points cancel.  First to 21.

2) True Danger Darts! Basically, stand far enough back that it's dangerous. I recommend being far enough that you can't do that little wrist-flick dart throw thing and instead have to throw it overhand like a baseball.  Don't play with kids nearby.

3) Horse. Played like the basketball game of the same name.  Requires some creativity. More playful than competitive, but unique to danger darts. Just wait until the previous player is out of the way before you throw.

Example Horse shots:  Left handed, underhanded, 50 footer, high lob, hit the swinging can, behind the back, throwing knife style throw, double back layout 1080 left handed

4) Dart-mouth. Developed over several years by a team of researchers via double blind testing on anxious, sleep deprived grad students.  Draw a big ass face on the board.  Your opponent drinks when you hit the mouth.

5) Tick Tac Toe. surprisingly fun. draw a 3X3 grid on the bottom half of the board with chalk then play with normal tic tac toe rules, except you actually have to hit your target

6) Untested games that are more like ideas than actual games. Baseball, minigolf, distance competition, battleship (this worked great, but took a while to set up), bocce ball, beer pong, snakes and ladders, double penetration

Who am I and what's up with this game?

We all have passions, mine is skill games

I've been inventing games with my brothers as long as I can remember.  We have games for every situation and level of sobriety and strive to keep the sibling rivalry alive.  However, none of our games were truly free-standing, until now.  In just a few seconds, Danger Darts can be set up and taught to new comers without requiring a steep learning curve or lengthy rule books.  By simply allowing someone to take a step forward or forcing someone to take a step back, the game can be continuously competitive regardless of skill level.  The board is also designed to be adaptable and gives room for creativity and development based on your own interests.  For example, I have added tic tac toe, shoots and ladders, and beer pong to my board(s) and I have a notebook of other ideas I'm excited to try.  All you need is a piece of chalk and some friendly competition, and the limits are endless.

CAUTION:  THESE ARE REAL DARTS!  PARENTAL GUIDANCE REQUIRED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 13!

Seriously.  This should not be left in the hands of unsupervised children who, totally hypothetically, may throw them at people's feet at your best friend's wedding when you're not looking.

Yes.  This is my first website.

Yes.  The boards are all made by me by hand.

No.  I will not be making a profit for a while.
